Family-owned SeaScape Property Management earns BBB award

October 24, 2021

SeaScape Property Management recently received the Better Business Bureau Edward M. Rush Sr. Memorial Award for Outstanding Family-Owned and -Operated Business.

Family values are deeply rooted in the SeaScape Property Management business, running since its initial gatehouse operation began at The Plantations community in Lewes in 2002 with Barry Nichols at the helm.

Patty Nichols, Barry’s wife, watched all six grandchildren from the first day that her son Doug Nichols started working for the company.

Originally, when the Nichols kids were growing up, they wanted to keep the business going as a family. With that dream in mind, three generations of Nichols currently work for SeaScape Property Management.

SeaScape currently has more than 30 employees and still holds strongly to the original family values that built the company. SeaScape employees always know that family comes first, and the tight-knit group of employees has now become a family of its own – standing by through life’s ups and downs alongside one another – whether through graduation celebrations or in times of need.

It is with these values that SeaScape strives every day to positively serve the needs of area communities.

"We are thankful to the Rush family for recognizing our family’s legacy in Delaware’s business sector. We treat our clients the way we treat family, enabling Seascape to become a trusted part of each community,” said Chris Nichols.

SeaScape Property Management is a Sussex County-based company that emphasizes preventative and proactive maintenance as the groundwork for association management.
