Fernanda M. Danforth, Rehoboth homemaker
Fernanda M. Danforth, age 98, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 in her daughter's home in Berlin, MD. She was born Oct. 19, 1917 in Ascoli Piceno, Italy, daughter of the late Luciano and Isolina Mignini.
Mother and homemaker, Mrs. Danforth was married to her late husband George Danforth for 59 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Elena Ake of Berlin, MD; and a son, William G. Danforth of Rehoboth Beach; two granddaughters and two grandsons-in law, Dr. Jennifer and Josh Romanov of Fairfax, VA, and Christina and G. Hale Harrison of Berlin.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. at St. Edmond Catholic Church, 409 King Charles Avenue, Rehoboth, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow services at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Dagsboro.
