Fiona Paul wins Holiday Havoc powerlifting meet

Fiona Paul, 9, the youngest member of the Rehoboth Beach Barbell Club, competed at the annual Holiday Havoc powerlifting meet in Manassas, Va., Dec. 15. Fiona put her strength on display by squatting, bench pressing and deadlifting among some of the strongest athletes from across the Mid-Atlantic region.

Competing in the Women's 40 kg division, Fiona earned a first-place finish. She went 7/9 and recorded a 117.5kg total for the day. Fiona's performance also moved her up to a third-place national ranking in the bench press.
