First State Antique Tractor Club sets annual show June 23-24

June 4, 2023

The First State Antique Tractor Club will hold its 2023 show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday, June 23 and 24, at the Laurel Farmers’ Auction Market, 10667 Georgetown Road, Laurel.

For this year’s show, the club is teaming with the Eastern Shore Region Antique Auto Club of America. John Deere tractors and related equipment will be featured this year.

Military and police will be honored. Activities for all ages include touch-a-truck, touch-a-tractor, kids’ pedal tractor pull, ticket auction and tractor games. Antique stationary engines will be operating and on display. The engines were used for powering home and farmstead equipment in days gone by.

Tony Windsor will provide live musical entertainment through 7 p.m., Friday. Attractions include a flea market, bake sale and craft fair, plus a working blacksmith and broom maker. Delaware State Police will be on hand for safety demonstrations.

Admission and parking are free, and donations are welcome. Alcohol and outside food are not permitted. Proceeds benefit the club’s scholarship fund, which has given $60,000 in awards for agricultural studies since 2005.
