Flip-flop donations accepted to benefit domestic abuse survivors

July 2, 2018

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women's Club is partnering with the Shell We Donate initiative to collect donations of new flip-flops for women and children. Throughout the summer, donations can be brought to Shell We Bounce Trampoline Park and Family Entertainment Center, 32295 Lewes-Georgetown Highway, Lewes.

Donated items will be distributed by the GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club to victims of domestic violence through its community service program that supports People’s Place. The Safe Program at People’s Place provides a safe environment, shelter and support for women and children in domestic violence situations in Kent and Sussex counties.

The GFWC Zwaanendael Women’s Club, a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, is a 501c3 nonprofit corporation whose members are public-spirited women serving and improving the community.
