The Force will be strong in Milton May 4
In a comic shop not so far, far away, fans will celebrate Star Wars Day on May the Fourth Be With You. Johnny Rags and his saxophone student Abby Stinar will perform musical selections from the Star Wars films, as well as the Marvel/DC cinematic universe, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 4, at Ogre's Grove.
This year, Star Wars Day happens to fall on the first Saturday in May, which is always Free Comic Book Day. Free Comic Book Day is an international event where publishers provide special comics at cost to retailers, who in turn give them away for free.
Everyone who visits Ogre's Grove during the event will get to choose one free comic book, just for showing up. Additional free comics will be available for dressing in costume, bringing a donation for the Milton Community Food Pantry and making a purchase. Attendees will also get to spin the prize wheel for a chance at winning even more comics and other goodies.
Fans who arrive by noon will get to take a photo with the Eastern Shore Ghostbusters and their converted SUV, ECTahOe1. Other special guests include local comic artists Sean Ahrendt and Jabaar L.
