Freeman Arts Pavilion recently announced the first set of performances for its 2024 summer concert series at the outdoor venue in Selbyville.
A program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, a fundraising arts nonprofit, Freeman Arts Pavilion will present its 17th season with a mix of dance, theater, children’s performances and live music.
The first set of performances announced includes ADA Twist, Scientist & Friends Friday, May 31; Kashmir featuring Jean Violet – The Spirit of Led Zeppelin Live Saturday, June 1; Patti LaBelle and Gladys Knight Thursday, June 6; Eaglemania – The World's Greatest Eagles Tribute Band Saturday, June 8; Almost Queen: A Tribute to Queen Friday, June 21; George Thorogood and The Destroyers Saturday, June 22; Michael Franti and Spearhead with special guests Trevor Hall and Bombargo Wednesday, June 26; 287th Army Band: The Governor's Own Friday, July 5; UB40: Red Red Wine Tour Sunday, July 7; Justin Hayward and Christopher Cross Wednesday, July 10; Rain: A Tribute to the Beatles Friday, July 12; Fitz and the Tantrums: Good Nights Tour Sunday, July 14; Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue Monday, July 15; Joe Bonamassa Wednesday, July 17; Rumours: The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute Show Wednesday, July 24; The Greatest Love of All – A Tribute To Whitney Houston starring Belinda Davids Saturday, Aug. 3; and Cole Swindell Thursday, Aug. 15.

Performances will be announced continually this spring as shows are confirmed, said Patti Grimes, executive director.
“We are thrilled to share the first glimpse of our 17th season, which features a variety of genres and world-class artists,” she said. “We are truly grateful to the community for embracing our vision to transform lives through the arts in the Delmarva region.”
As an arts nonprofit, Freeman Arts can offer performances for all ages to enjoy with the support of local organizations such as its season sponsors, which include the Armstrong Family, the Eugenio Family, Schell Brothers, and Sara Chase Carlson of Sodoka Inc.
