Freeman Arts Pavilion announces more artists for 2021 season

Tedeschi Trucks, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue join lineup

Freeman Arts Pavilion recently released even more shows for its 2021 season, which now totals 63 events. 

The newly acts announced include Locals Under the Lights Wednesday, July 7; the Reagan Years Thursday, July 8; Mike Super – Magic & Illusion Thursday, July 15; Dark Star Orchestra Wednesday, July 28; Hollywood Nights: A Bob Seger Experience Friday, July 30; U.S. Coast Guard Band Monday, Aug. 2; country music artist Lee Brice Thursday, Aug. 5; Journeyman: A Tribute to Eric Clapton Friday, Aug. 6; Grammy Award winners Tedeschi Trucks Tuesday, Aug. 17; Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue Friday, Aug. 20; The University of Delaware Music Spectacular Thursday, Sept. 16; and the annual Arts and Jazz Festival Saturday, Sept. 18.

Performances also on sale include Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis, Tower of Power, Foreigner, Steve Earle and Los Lobos, the Commodores, Melissa Etheridge, Blackberry Smoke and more.

This season will feature pod seating for up to four patrons to allow for proper physical distancing. Patrons will also bring their own chairs to all performances.

As an arts nonprofit, Freeman Arts offers performances for all ages to enjoy with the support of local organizations including season sponsors Schell Brothers and Sodoka Inc. (Sara Chase Carlson). For more information, go to freemanarts.org.
