Freeman Arts to spotlight Nanticoke history, heritage Nov. 22
As part of its Spotlight Series, the Freeman Arts Pavilion will host the Nanticoke Indian Tribe for an engaging and educational cultural experience celebrating Nanticoke history, heritage and traditions at 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at 31255 Americana Parkway, Selbyville.
Freeman Arts Pavilion, a program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation that has a mission to provide arts access to all, has offered year-round programming through its arts education and community engagement programs, which primarily benefit school-age children.
The Spotlight Series invites individuals of all ages from the community at large to explore artistic interests, develop creative skills and forge connections with others.
“By bringing together local artists, cultural organizations and our community, we’re able to offer experiences that inspire, educate and celebrate the diversity of creative expression in our region,” said Patti Grimes, Freeman Arts Pavilion executive director.
