Friends of Cape Henlopen State Park to install osprey camera March 13
On Friday, March 13, a new osprey camera will be installed atop one of the two tall tanks at SPI Pharma, located at 40 Cape Henlopen Drive, in Lewes, adjacent to the entrance to Cape Henlopen State Park.
The new osprey camera will support coverage of two nesting osprey. The original camera was installed some years ago and has been continuously sponsored by the Friends. Its pictures have been shown continuously as an exhibit in the Seaside Nature Center and also at www.friendsofcapehenlopen.org, the Friends’ website.
The new camera, compatible with the state park’s new server, will provide sharper pictures and there will also be a feed to YouTube.
