The Funsters to entertain Independence Day show crowds

June 26, 2025

The Funsters, a longtime Cape Region favorite rock and soul band, will entertain revelers at multiple upcoming concerts celebrating Independence Day.

Blending solid rhythm, rich vocal harmonies and a soulful horn section, the Funsters’ name is synonymous with dancing and good times.

Lewes Canalfront Park will present the Funsters from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m, Thursday, July 3, at 211 Front St., Lewes.

The Funsters will host the First Friday celebration for Downtown Milford Inc. from 7 to 9 p.m., July 4, at Bicentennial Park, in the 200 block of NE Front Street, Milford.

In what has become a holiday tradition, the Funsters will perform at the Rehoboth Beach Bandstand at 8 p.m., Saturday, July 5, for the city’s annual music and fireworks celebration. The bandstand area will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6 p.m. to midnight. Weather permitting, a fireworks display will launch at about 9:30 p.m., from the beach near Brooklyn Avenue. The Funsters will continue performing at the bandstand after the fireworks conclude.

As part of the Town of Millsboro’s summer concert series, the Funsters will perform at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, in Cupola Park, 102 Washington St., Millsboro.
