G. Anthony ‘Tony’ Keen, worked in agriculture
George Anthony “Tony” Keen, 69, of Broadkill Beach, passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.
The son of George H. and Mary Anthony Keen, he was born in Orange, N.J., but lived mainly in Delaware since he was 3 months of age. He was a graduate of Georgetown High School and Delaware Valley College of Agriculture. Tony worked his entire life in the field of agriculture. In 1980, he started Keen Consulting, working with farming, turf and golf enterprises from its inception until now.
Tony is survived by his wife, Jacki; three sons, Tak and his wife Tammy of Lewes, Rhen of Newark, and Drew and his wife Taylor of Lewes. He also is leaving behind five grandchildren, Taylor, Todd, Jesse, Riley and Jack; and a sister, Georgeann Okie of Georgetown.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 20, at Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes. Interment will follow at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tony may be made to Delaware Hospice, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
