Peninsula Lakes Garden Club members recently gathered for an evening tour of four homeowners’ properties in full summer bloom in the Millsboro community.
The gardens ranged from newly planted greenery, bushes and flowering shrubs to more mature landscaping and trees. Flowers and vegetables dazzled in an array of colors, with some enhancements from ornamental rocks and statues. Attendees were excited to gather tips and ideas they can use to enhance their own outdoor spaces. A concluding reception featured a salad made from heirloom tomatoes grown at one of the homes on the tour.
