Gary’s hosts annual Dewey Brew Fest

Craft beer lovers gathered at Gary’s in Dewey Beach May 2 for the 12th edition of the Dewey Beach Brew Fest.

The event featured brewers from all over the state, including Sussex County favorites like Dogfish Head, Crooked Hammock, Revelation and Dewey’s own Dewey Beer Co. and 38-75 Brewing. Coming from Kent and New Castle counties were Mispillion River Brewing and First State Brewing, and those from out of state, like Victory and 2SP Brewing, also attended. Proceeds from ticket sales to the festival went to Grass Roots Rescue.

The event featured two sessions for beer enthusiasts to sample mostly beers, but also craft meads and craft tequilas.
