Georgetown library student art show to open Feb. 25

An exhibit of works by promising young artists from three Sussex County schools will open Wednesday, Feb. 25, at the Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St., Georgetown.
All student art show participants and their teachers will be honored during a closing reception set for 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 25.
Sponsored by Georgetown Arts and Flowers Inc., this year’s show features artwork by students in kindergarten through eighth grade from North Georgetown Elementary, Georgetown Elementary and Sussex Academy.
The variety of works will be judged by three local artists for first-, second- and third-place prizes along with honorable mention awards.
