Goode will question the status quo

July 30, 2024

It is always admirable to see a candidate who is not afraid to debate, ask relevant questions and question the status quo. Suzanne Goode’s honesty and practical approach set her apart from the other candidates. Her willingness to listen is commendable. Suzanne has the financial acumen and leadership skills to ensure the city’s ability to thrive economically – control spending, keep taxes low, while providing high-quality services.

Suzanne is the only candidate present at the commissioner meetings and doing the legwork necessary to understand issues. This includes her recent diligence on Sussex County’s growing wastewater needs and their attempt to use Rehoboth ocean outfall excess capacity without adequate compensation. She embraces new ideas, technology, alternative approaches and transparency. Her enhanced communication builds trust and fosters collaboration. Never have we met anyone who serves her community so tirelessly.

Rehoboth Beach deserves authentic leadership that is transparent to the taxpayers and will stop the insider deals, hidden from taxpayers. It is without reservation that we endorse Suzanne Goode for commissioner.
