Gordon Lightfoot documentary coming to Cinema Art Theater

July 30, 2020

Starting Friday, July 31, the Rehoboth Beach Film Society’s Cinema Art Theater offers virtual cinema access to “Gordon Lightfoot: If You Could Read My Mind,” an intimate documentary that explores the career, music, and influence of a legendary Canadian musical icon.

The film follows singer-songwriter Gordon Lightfoot’s evolution from Christian choirboy to troubled troubadour to international star. It is an emotional examination of the artist’s profound relationship to his music and his Canadian roots. It features interviews from many notable voices in the music industry including Lightfoot peers and fans Alec Baldwin, Anne Murray and Sarah McLachlan; as well as behind-the-scenes stories from members of his longtime band.

To help keep the Cinema Art Theater’s future bright, visit www.rehobothfilm.com for streaming links to watch one or several available films at  home. The distributor sets the fee, but if more than one person is watching, it is a bargain.
