Great Marsh provides incredible views Easter Sunday with Cape Gazette

April 18, 2020

Easter 2020 is definitely going to be remembered, but certainly not for the traditional holiday outings & gatherings thanks to COVID-19. Most families missed the chance to wear their Sunday best to church or gather at Gram & Gramps for Easter dinner.

This past Sunday, Mitch Bunting of Milton is shown here reading the Cape Gazette amongst the Great Marsh Preserve, 17,000 acres of immense coastal wetlands along the Delaware Bay stretching from Lewes Beach to Slaughter Beach. Mitch is a Sophomore at Cape Henlopen High School and a participant in the ProStart program, a 2-year industry-written curriculum for high school students designed to teach students culinary and management skills needed for a career in the restaurant and food-service industry. In his spare time, Mitch also enjoys working for Lloyd’s Market on Savannah Road in Lewes. Lloyd’s was established in 1971 and offers a wide variety of local produce & fresh cut meats.
