A great Veterans Day ceremony in Rehoboth

November 17, 2023

I would like to give a big shoutout to VFW Post 7447 and all those involved in organizing and presenting the Veterans Day ceremony Nov. 11.

Dave Diefenderfer, the post commander, did an excellent job of keeping the proceedings moving and giving informative background history as well as good introductions for each speaker.

The Cape Henlopen High School JROTC and bagpiper Lani Spahr were welcome additions to the ceremony.

I would also like to thank the City of Rehoboth Beach for graciously allowing all of us to honor our veterans in such an outstanding way.
