Groome UMC to host instrument swap and local folk concert April 21
Groome United Methodist Church in Lewes will hold two events Saturday, April 21.
Anchor Coffee House at Groome UMC will host an instrument swap meet from 3 to 6:30 p.m., April 21. Attendees may browse, buy, sell or trade used stringed instruments and light gear. To reserve a vendor table for $5, call 302-827-4058. All vendor fees benefit Groome UMC. Doors will open at 3 p.m. Hot and cold beverages, snacks and pastries will be for sale.
Three local musicians – Cathy Jane, Jason Filasky and Bob McNamara – will perform individual and diverse sets for an evening of contemporary, traditional and original songs at the Anchor Coffee House at Groome UMC from 7 to 9 p.m., April 21. Admission is $5 cash at the door. Prior to the concert, doors will open at 6 p.m., and a variety of pastries, snacks, and hot and cold nonalcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.
