Group seeks historic designation for Rehoboth post office

The Rehoboth Beach Main Street Design Committee formed a task force last year with the objective to secure a designation on the National Register of Historic Places for the Rehoboth Beach Post Office.
Following approval by the city, the application will be sent to the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs in Dover. Once the nomination is finalized, it will be reviewed by the Delaware State Review Board for Historic Preservation and ultimately by the Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
Should the application be accepted, a plaque will be placed at the Rehoboth Beach Post Office. Many thanks to this talented team for all their hard work.
