Harvest Ridge Winery in Marydel will be hosting its fifth annual food truck competition to benefit local veterans from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 6, and 12 to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 7, at the winery.
This year, 25 of the region's most popular food trucks will be participating to raise money for the Hero Hunts Foundation and the local chapter of Disabled American Veterans.
With the money raised in previous years at this event, the winery has been able to purchase two transport vans for the Disabled American Veterans charity. "We are so proud to have the chance to work with the men and women of the DAV. We love that the community supports this event every year so that we can continue to give back to them,” said Harvest Ridge owner Chuck Hunan.
The winery’s address is 447 Westville Road in Marydel. Tickets for this family-friendly event are $10. For more information and to purchase tickets, go to www.harvestridgewinery.com.
