Please support expanded House Bill 113. This bill needs to be passed. There is not enough done in our state to protect children from predators. There needs to be accountability and consequences to make our schools and other state-run facilities safe. This bill will be a deterrent because it will take away the taxpayer-funded pension from school personnel who are arrested and convicted of child abuse.
Children cannot protect themselves. Adults need to step up. There needs to be consequences to these crimes that are severe enough. This bill will stop child abuse in schools and other government-funded facilities. The bill is ready to be passed. Call or write to your representatives or Gov. Matt Meyer and tell them this is something that can be done, and needs to be done now.
