Heidi Lowe Gallery to exhibit Earrings Galore in NYC Nov. 13-18
Heidi Lowe Gallery will show its local favorite exhibition, Earrings Galore, in New York City Tuesday-Sunday, Nov. 13-18. The pop-up exhibition, located at 171 Elizabeth St., highlights rich and diverse examples of earrings made by emerging and established studio jewelers. Exhibition hours are noon to 8 p.m.
Earrings Galore is a celebration of art jewelry made by emerging and established studio jewelers. Displaying a broad range of thoughtful works, the exhibition creates access for the public to engage with art jewelry for the first time or to add to their collection. From simple and classic everyday pieces to head-turning statement earrings, this year’s annual show features approximately 300 pairs of earrings created by 50 artists from the United States and abroad.
“When I lived in New York City 13 years ago, it was my dream to open a gallery there. I have traveled with Earrings Galore as a pop-up to many cities across the country, but to finally bring it to New York is a dream come true!” Lowe said.
Lowe’s exhibition is one of many events happening throughout the city during NYC Jewelry Week, which is dedicated to promoting the world of jewelry through educational and innovative NYC-focused programming from the best and brightest businesses, brands, individual jewelers, artists, and designers throughout NYC.
The annual Drusy and Gemstone Trunk Show will return to Heidi Lowe Gallery Friday-Tuesday, Nov. 23-27. A selection of drusy, landscape jasper, and other gemstones will be on display during regular gallery hours. Pick a favorite gemstone, design with Heidi, and the handmade jewelry will be created in time for the holidays. Drusy Happy Hours will be held on both Black Friday and Small Business Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m.
