Heidi Lowe Gallery to host mantra cuff bracelet class April 5

Heidi Lowe Gallery will offer a 2.5-hour jewelry-making class from 12:30 to 3 p.m., Monday, April 5, on how to make a silver mantra cuff bracelet.

This is a basic metalsmithing class where attendees will learn to texture, cut, file and form metal to make a sterling silver bracelet that sets a mantra (an encouraging phrase or word repeated, often during meditation or prayer) to help keep the wearer focused. This class will start off with a focusing exercise, and students will leave wearing their own handmade sterling silver cuff bracelets. The class cost is $145, including the materials fee. Registration closes Friday, April 2.

Heidi Lowe Gallery can also teach a private class for a family or small group.
