Heidi Lowe Gallery to host Sooyeon Kim opening Oct. 10
Heidi Lowe Gallery will host an opening for Sooyeon Kim from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 10. The opening is part of the Rehoboth Gallery Collective’s free second Saturday artwalk.
“Sooyeon’s work is geometric and modern,” said Lowe. “Her work is inspired by photographs from her travels. She then distorts them through computer technology until the image on the jewelry no longer resembles the original photo.”
Kim’s show is called Delineation of Memories. She received the 2013 Art Jewelry Forum Artist Award, and this is her final show. It will be on display through Friday, Oct. 30.
From Friday, Nov. 27 to Friday, Dec. 25, the gallery will participate in Rehoboth Main Street’s Holiday Downtown Loyal Customer Card. Customers with the card will receive 10 percent off purchases. For more information go to www.downtownrb.com. Lowe’s holiday collection will debut Saturday, Nov. 14.
