Helios Sunglasses cuts ribbon on second Rehoboth store

Helios Sunglasses has officially opened its second store at 110 Rehoboth Ave., Rehoboth Beach, in a storefront of the Avenue Inn.
The new location is in addition to the original storefront in First Street Station. The new shop was built with the help of Don Martinelli, who finalized the new design with a tight timeline to allow Helios to open before the summer season began. Helios Sunglasses is a family-owned and -operated small business run by brothers Andrew and Vinny Martinelli, and their wives Ashlee and Melissa.
Helios Sunglasses offers a welcoming customer service experience to allow patrons to relax and enjoy looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses. Much like the first location, customers are encouraged to try on an array of sunglass brands from Blenders Eyewear to Gucci. The store offers an abundance of styles and price points for everyone. Helios Sunglasses also offers prescription options for both sunglasses and optical lenses.
“We are so grateful for this opportunity to not only open our second location in Rehoboth Beach, but to also become more and more tied to our amazing community. As a relatively new small business, we are always looking for ways to grow and become more involved,” said Andrew Martinelli.
Visitors are encouraged to pop in, shop and snap a photo at the almost-famous ‘wave wall,’ designed and painted by local artist Laura Killpack.
Helios is open in season seven days a week at both locations.
