VIA to host inaugural fine art and craft show April 6

The Village Improvement Association announced its new fine art and craft show is set for 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, April 6, at the VIA Clubhouse, 415 N. Boardwalk, Rehoboth Beach.

Doors open at 4 p.m. for previewing a variety of works by local artisans. There will also be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle.

Participating artisans include Dawn Pierro, jewelry; Deborah Bryant, pottery; Lois & Bob Pottery, ceramics; Susan Donohoe, jewelry; Carol Lazzara, glass; Hannah Widdon, acrylic art; Pam Bounds, mixed media; Craig Schwartz, photography; Paulette Hardy, sea glass art and jewelry; and Dean Donovan, photography.

Admission is $10 online or $15 at the door, cash only. A glass of wine and light fare are included with admission. Space is limited, so early ticket purchase is encouraged at rehobothbeachvia.org.

The Village Improvement Association of Rehoboth Beach is a women’s civic and charitable organization comprising members of all ages and backgrounds. Since its founding in 1909, VIA members have been harnessing their collective powers to make enduring personal and financial contributions to the town of Rehoboth Beach and surrounding communities. The VIA is a member of GFWC Delaware and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an international organization dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
