I Draw Slow, a Grammy-nominated Irish band, will perform one show at 7 p.m., Monday, June 2, at Nassau Valley Vineyards near Lewes as they make their way around the East Coast for their 2025 American Tour.
Fronted by brother/sister songwriting team Dave Holden on guitar/vocals and Louise Holden on vocals, this Dublin-based, five-piece group has received critical praise for an original sound that bridges the gap between traditional Irish and American roots music.
Performing for almost two decades, I Draw Slow has released four critically acclaimed albums, with the third, “Turn Your Face to The Sun,” hitting No. 1 on the Irish charts.
Nassau Valley Vineyards founder and co-owner Peggy Raley-Ward said, “This will be the third visit for I Draw Slow to the Cape Region. Audiences love the band, and we’ve had many requests for their return. The Irish are among the best storytellers in the world, and it’s clearly front and center in their music. From their magical harmonies, sublime lyrics and fiery grooves to heart-stopping sensitivity, it’s well-crafted songwriting with a perfect, multi-instrumental delivery.”
The group will perform at Nassau Valley Vineyards’ Grand Cru Hall, and doors open at 6 p.m., June 2. The winery is located at 32165 Winery Way, Lewes. There is plenty of free parking, and the venue is fully handicap accessible.
