ITN Southern Delaware kicks off annual fundraising campaign

October 23, 2017

Sussex County has one of the fastest growing senior populations in the United States. While public transportation organizations are trying to expand their services in Southern Delaware to keep up with the demand, the alternatives for seniors remain limited. Access to health and wellness appointments, social activities, and consumer products is key to maintaining older adults' independence and their aging in place with dignity.

During ITN Southern Delaware's annual fundraising campaign, people can donate toward the Healthy Miles, Ride & Shop, and Road Scholarship programs to help seniors 55+ and adults with visual impairments maintain the quality of life they deserve!. Donations will subsidize ride costs for ITN co-op members with limited resources and will help ITN provide community-based, dignified transportation services arm-through-arm, door-through-door at an affordable rate.

Donate by going to www.itnsoutherndelaware.org or follow the link on the ITNSouthernDelaware Facebook page. Help keep the roads safe and ride costs down.
