James Andrew Lynch, proud Marine veteran

James Andrew Lynch, 71, known to everyone as Jimmy or War Buck, passed peacefully at his Milford home Saturday, June 25, 2022.  He was born Jan. 8, 1951, in Lewes. 

Jimmy served his country in Vietnam from 1968-70 as a proud Marine.  He was a phenomenal hunter and fisherman, and loved to go crabbing in his spare time.  He was involved with stock cars, NASCAR and harness racing.  He was a welder and jack of all trades. Jimmy was known for his crazy stories of childhood antics, which endeared him to many friends and family.  

He was predeceased by his son, James (Jimbo); his father, Paynter A. Lynch; his mother, Barbara Edginton. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Lynch; his daughter, Cassie and her mom Joyce Lynch, both of Milford, brothers, Tad Lynch (Susan) of Milford and Paige Lynch (Crystal) of Houston; and sisters, Dawn Petterson of Lewes and Debbie Papaiouanu (Michael) of Georgia. He also leaves behind nephews, Zack and Jeremy Lynch of Milford; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many treasured friends.
