James (Jimmy) Murray Lehman, registered nurse

On Thursday, April 15, 2021, James (Jimmy) Murray Lehman, loving uncle, cousin and friend, passed away at the age of 65.  Jimmy was born Aug. 27, 1956, in Lewes, son of the late James and Doris (Mitchell) Lehman.

Jimmy received his nursing degree from Delaware Technical Community College and practiced as a Registered Nurse throughout his life.  In 1996, he was joined in a civil union with his life partner, Mike Dalton, whom he loved dearly.  Jimmy loved nursing and all the friends he made working as a nurse. Caring for others was not only his occupation, but his passion. He was an avid reader and music lover. Jimmy was known for his kind and compassionate spirit.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his beloved life partner, Mike; his father, Jim; his mother, Doris; and his brother, Ken. He is survived by his first cousin, John Lehman Sr.; his sister-in-law, Susan; and his three nieces and several cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
