Jaykal LED Solutions of Harbeson announces executive advisory board
Jaykal LED Solutions, an industry leader in LED lighting solutions, announced the creation of an advisory board to the board of trustees. The advisory board consists of five individuals with distinguished, successful careers in the U.S. military, U.S. Congress, government relations, federal public policy and multinational business consulting.
Retired USMC Lt. Gen. “Buck” Bedard will act as chair. He brings over 47 years of military and professional service experience, most recently as deputy commandant for Plans, Policies, and Operations at U.S .Marine Corps Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
Also on the board is Robert Hobart, a founding partner of HHQ Ventures, a boutique business advisory firm specializing in developing appropriations strategies. Hobart provides strategic planning services on policy development and regulatory risk analysis, focusing on technology, commercial energy finance and growth opportunities in global markets.
Rashid Holloway, co-founder of HHQ Ventures, joins the board with more than 15 years of public policy experience specializing in federal and state advocacy, regulatory affairs and access to government markets. Holloway previously served U.S. Sen. Evan Bayh on staff advising on national security matters and serving as designee on the Senate Armed Services Committee.
Former U.S. Congressman Ben Quayle has also been named to the board. He currently counsels clients on domestic policy, focusing on financial services, intellectual property, tax, national defense and energy policies. While serving in Congress, Quayle focused on regulatory reform and was known for his hard work, analytical skills, leadership and coalition building.
George P. Fenton, USMC - Ret., rounds out the advisory board, bringing with him an impressive military career of 28 years. He is currently the vice president GMP of sales at Taser International and is responsible for the development and implementation of sales to all federal department law enforcement agencies, as well as Department of Defense armed forces. He is well versed in cultivating business development, and advancing opportunities for federal research, development and engineering.
