Jehovah’s Witnesses attend circuit assembly program
Jehovah’s Witnesses from Dagsboro; Felton; Georgetown; Laurel; Milford; Seaford; Cambridge, Md.; Chestertown, Md.; Easton. Md.; and Queenstown, Md., attended a circuit assembly program in Crownsville, Md., Nov. 22. The theme for the program was Imitate Their Faith, based on Scripture in Hebrews 13:7.
Presenters gave talks, interviews and demonstrations, and personal experiences and examples of how people who apply Bible principles in their lives can develop a close relationship with Jehovah God and his son Jesus Christ. Numerous Bible verses were read to explain and highlight points as individuals and family members in the audience followed along in their personal copies of the Bible.
Practical suggestions were given to help all 1,271 who attended become imitators of the faithful ones in the Bible by studying God’s word. The young ones were encouraged to imitate Timothy of the Bible. To maintain their faith all were strengthened with the words of Hebrews 6:12, “through faith and patience” they will “inherit the promises.” One of the highlights of the assembly on Sunday morning was the baptism of 10 people in demonstration of their personal dedication to Jehovah God.
This program was one of many circuit assemblies that took place in various locations throughout the United States on this same weekend. Similar programs are conducted in the United States and countries around the world for more than 8,000,000 Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide. All of these meetings are open to the public, and no collections are taken.
