Jerrilynn Ann Hull, enjoyed coastal life

March 10, 2022

Jerrilynn Ann (Watson) Hull, 79, of Lewes, passed away Monday, March 7, 2022, at Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe. Affectionately known to her friends and family as “Jerri” or “JL,” she was born Dec. 13, 1942, in Washington, D.C., daughter of the late Carl Grant and Gertrude Louise Clark Watson of Alexandria, Va.

Soon after her retirement from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Jerrilynn moved to southeastern Florida, where she resided for 20 years. She relocated to Lewes in her later years to be closer to family and enjoy the coastal life of the Mid-Atlantic region.

Jerrilynn enjoyed dining out, being in the company of her friends and family. In her earlier years, she spent time riding her trail bike, and along with her late husband, piloting The Shenandoah, their motor yacht.

Jerrilynn’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful staff of Brandywine Living at Seaside Pointe for the loving care they provided during her residence.

In addition to her parents, Jerrilynn was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Scott Hull; and her sister, Patricia Ann Watson Koontz. She is survived by her son, Donald Blake Berry (Lynne) of Frederick, Md.; her grandsons: Scott Berry of Frederick, and Connor Berry of Portland, Ore.; and her brother, Jeff Watson and his husband Larz Kremer of Lewes.

A celebration of Jerrilynn’s life will be held at a later date.

Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
