A Candid Conversation on Aging with Joan Lunden is set for 6 to 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, at St. Jude the Apostle Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes.

Lunden is an American journalist, author and television host. She was the co-host of ABC's “Good Morning America” from 1980 to 1997 and has authored eight books. Her newest is “Why Did I Come into This Room?: A Candid Conversation about Aging.”

In her most revealing book yet, Lunden delves into the various phases of aging that leave many feeling uncomfortable, confused and on edge. She takes the dull and depressing out of aging, replacing it with wit and humor.

Following the presentation, Lunden will sign copies of her book, which will be available for sale before and after the event by Browseabout Books. A portion of book proceeds will benefit Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition’s statewide programs and services for women and men battling breast cancer.

Attendance at the talk is free, but registration is required through Lewes Public Library. To register, go to bit.ly/Joan_Lunden_ or  call the library, 302-645-2733. Free registration does not include a book, nor does the purchase of a book include registration for the talk.
