Johnson Orthodontics awards scholarship to Lucy Siranides

Johnson Orthodontics has awarded a $500 scholarship to Cape graduate Lucy Siranides.

The Extraordinary Smiles Scholarship was established in 2018 to help Cape seniors reach their academic and career goals. Funds can be applied toward tuition, fees or any other expenses related to the student’s first year of college.

Siranides was selected based on her outstanding academic and extracurricular record, strength of character and a personal essay she wrote about making someone smile.

The team members at Johnson Orthodontics believe that the importance of this simple act – making someone smile – cannot be underestimated, especially in times such as these.

In the fall, Siranides will be taking advantage of the joint education program between the University of Delaware and Beebe Healthcare’s Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing.
