Joseph Appleton, Ravens fan
Joseph Appleton, 67, of Seaford, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, at TidalHealth Nanticoke surrounded by his caregivers and friends.
Joseph was born Feb. 3, 1956, in Dover, to his late mother Rae Pierce.
In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Emmert and Elizabeth Sampson.
He will be greatly missed by his brother, Edward Czirki of California; sister, Teresa Czirki of Puerto Rico; uncle, Harold Hannum of Harrington; and uncle, Raymond Hannum of Felton.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Friday, Sept. 29, at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, with a viewing from 11 a.m. to noon. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Georgetown.
