Joseph Emil Brunetto, great handyman
Joseph Emil Brunetto, 56, of Millsboro, formerly of Bergen County, N.J., passed away Sunday, April 3, 2022, with his family by his side.
Joe was born May 11, 1965, in Yonkers, N.Y., to the late Robert Sr. and Patricia Kusala Brunetto. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by a nephew, Kurtis.
He worked as a plant manager in his family’s textile business. Joe enjoyed football, skiing, camping, boating, gardening, painting, tiling and woodworking, and was an all-around great handyman. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Joe was a strong, selfless and devoted husband, and a father who never complained and loved unconditionally. He will be dearly missed.
Joe is survived by his devoted wife of 34 years, Robyn Kolnsberg Brunetto of Millsboro; one son, Joseph Robert Brunetto of Millsboro; one brother, Robert Brunetto Jr. of Glen Gardner, N.J.; as well as two sisters, Leighann Giacalone and her husband Paul of Dumont, N.J., and Kristi Troisi (Craig Wiltshire) of Lincoln Park, N.J. He also leaves behind five nieces, Elizabeth, Galiya, Jessica, Jacqueline and Jenna; as well as five nephews, Cory, Robert, Joey, Thomas and Jimmy. Also surviving are great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 10, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. for viewing and visitation. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Wicomico Humane Society, 5130 Citation Dr., Salisbury, MD 21804.
