Joseph P. Farrell, retired carpenter
Joseph P. Farrell, 80, of Milton, passed away Monday, Aug. 15, 2011, in his home. Joseph was born in Felton, son of the late James Edward and Elizabeth (Carlisle) Farrell.
He was a carpenter and had worked for Custom Framers and more recently with First State Community Action Agency in Georgetown.
Joseph was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
In addition to his parents, Joseph is preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Dear; and two brothers, Victor and Bobby Farrell.
He is survived by four children: Barbara, Jackie, Joseph and Kenny; four brothers: Charles, Cliff, James E. and Johnnie Farrell; grandchildren Jake and Heather; great-granddaughter: Shelby; a close friend: Shirley Arno; and a host of other grandchildren and extended family.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 19, in the chapel of the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro.
