Juvenile expungement clinic registration due June 13

June 6, 2019

The Office of Defense Services has scheduled a juvenile record expungement clinic for qualified candidates from Sussex County Friday, Aug. 16, at the Georgetown Public Library. Registration for this clinic closes Thursday, June 13. Families are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to clear those with certain juvenile records who qualify in order to give them more opportunities for their future without being defined by past mistakes.

To register or check eligibility for a juvenile expungement, call ODS Juvenile Expungement Coordinator Alanna Farber at 302-577-5120. For more information on qualifications and registration, go to the Office of Defense Services website at www.ods.delaware.gov.

The Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice is working alongside the Office of Defense Services to encourage qualified candidates to register before the deadline. SDARJ is willing to provide financial assistance to those who may not be able to make the $52 payment for fingerprinting so that money is not a barrier.

The Office of Defense Services and Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice will host the Juvenile Expungement Clinic Friday, Aug. 16, at the Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St.
