Kaisy's Delights cuts ribbon on Millsboro location

February 16, 2024

The Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 12 to celebrate the opening of Kaisy’s Delights in downtown Millsboro.

Owner Thierry Langer was born and raised in Nice, France, and credits his aunt Ruth Langer with teaching his family how to perpetuate their culinary traditions from France, Austria, Hungary and Poland. Her legacy is the DNA of Kaisy’s Delights. Menu items include soups and goulash that can be paired with a tartine or an open-faced sandwich served on a baguette, plus salads, omelets and, of course, the signature Kaiserschmarrn, an Austrian-style pancake with homemade toppings for breakfast or dessert. The eclectic menu includes artisan sausages, the French corner selections and American sandwiches.

“We are thrilled that known restaurateurs are seeing the growth in Millsboro and are drawn to our downtown area,” said Anne Angel, Greater Millsboro Chamber of Commerce executive director. “The area’s growth has sparked the need for new businesses, goods and services that will ultimately help in the revitalization of downtown.”
