Kay Lynn Passwaters, avid bowler

Kay Lynn Passwaters, 59, passed away Sunday, Jan. 24, 2021, at Tidal Health Nanticoke in Seaford.  She was born in Cambridge, Md., Feb. 4, 1961, daughter of the late Henry Turner and Barbara Hitch.

Kay graduated from Seaford Senior High School in 1979.  She worked and managed the family business for many years before landing a new job as a lead baker in a grocery store.

She was an avid bowler for many years, including serving as the league secretary on many bowling leagues. However, her most enjoyment was spending time with family and friends and helping anybody who was in need.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Turner, and mother Barbara Hitch.

Kay is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Richard Passwaters; sons Alan (Shannon) Passwaters, Shane (Laura) Passwaters and Chad (Samantha) Passwaters; stepfather David Hitch; brothers Gary Turner, Wayne Turner and Brian Turner; granddaughters Wrenly, Haylie, Skyleigh, Hannah, Emma and Chloe; and many nieces and nephews.
