Kiwanis to host day trip to Longwood Gardens Dec. 7

The Kiwanis Club of Coastal Delaware will celebrate the holiday season Thursday, Dec. 7, with a day trip to the world-renowned Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, Pa.

Lights and decorated trees abound for self-guided tours of the property. This trip is scheduled to provide time before and after sunset to ensure nothing is missed. On-site eateries are available for attendees to dine at their leisure.

The bus departs promptly at 10 a.m from the Rehoboth Beach City Hall parking lot. Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. The bus will depart from Longwood Gardens at 6 p.m., arriving back in Rehoboth at 8:30 p.m. Restroom accommodations are available on board. Space is limited, so reserving a seat early is recommended.
