Kristina Lingo of Jack Lingo Realtor honored for community service

Jack Lingo Realtor staff members extend congratulations to their colleague Kristina Lingo, who received the Sussex County Association of Realtors 2018 Good Neighbor Award. This award is given to individuals in the community who strive to make an impact and who demonstrate a commitment to improving the area through volunteer work.

Lingo said, "I love having the opportunity to give back to the community where I was born and raised, and I am thrilled to be the recipient of this award."

She served as president of the SCAOR Community Service Foundation in 2018, and she continues to serve on its board. This year, the foundation raised over $50,000 at its annual fall gala. Funds went toward assisting underprivileged children in Sussex County and helped more than 295 children enjoy a brighter holiday season.

Once part of both the field hockey and softball programs at Cape Henlopen High School, Lingo now serves as a volunteer coach for the school's varsity swim team. She is a member of the Women's Council of Realtors, where she has volunteered at group meetings and at Bras for a Cause.
