Kudos to Rehoboth Mayor Paul Kuhns

June 13, 2019

Last week I had the pleasure of thanking Mayor Kuhns for his decision to put additional stop signs on Henlopen Avenue. The local resident response has been overwhelmingly positive.  He earned a well-deserved kudos.

Well, this week, the tremendously overgrown evergreen and barberry bushes that had completely and dangerously obstructed everyone’s view while driving down Rehoboth Avenue and approaching the infamous circle were unceremoniously dug up and removed.

Guess what?  Speeding drivers can now actually see cars coming around the circle and might be more inclined to stop and yield.  Another positive step for safety and active government intervention.

So who was responsible for this decision?  Yep, Mayor Kuhns.  I will give this an A-plus grade.  And he’s not even up for re-election this fall. Refreshing.
