La Vida Hospitality to launch new delivery business

October 8, 2020

It’s 5 o’clock and people’s stomachs are telling them it’s time to eat, but making dinner feels too much like a chore. Combing through the drawer of delivery menus presents a new problem of having to decide which cuisine to eat. One family member is in the mood for some comfort food, but another other is craving something more healthy. The solution to this dilemma lies at the core of Crave, a new delivery kitchen concept from La Vida Hospitality.

Crave is born out of the desire for a simple solution to offer customers a wide variety of high-quality, craft-made dishes delivered hot and fresh to their doors. Unlike other delivery services such as DoorDash, GrubHub, and Uber Eats, Crave customers are able to choose from three different menu concepts all prepared and delivered from the same kitchen.

“With other delivery solutions, customers often have to order from third-party services or multiple locations, which results in food that arrives cold or not on time, and possibly brought in multiple deliveries. With Crave, every member of your household can order the dish that they desire, made fresh from the highest-quality ingredients, and it’s delivered to you in one delivery,” said Josh Grapski, managing member of La Vida Hospitality.

Crave offers customers three unique menus, each tailored to fulfill a craving produced by a specific state of mind. Chefs Sean Corea and Ingrid Dellatorre have collaborated on each menu to offer quality yet affordable items that every member of the household can enjoy.

Couch Potato menu items include Loaded Waffle Fries, Smash Burgers and Fried Chicken.

The Health Nut dishes range from salads and wraps to a build-a-beach-bowl option.

Traveling Foodie menu items include dishes from Korea, the Mediterranean and Latin America.

“Working on these menus was a truly fun experience as we tried to anticipate the cravings of our customers. Just as important was crafting menu items that would deliver well, and pairing that with the best takeout packaging we could find. This ensures that your meal is delivered to you in a consistent and high-quality manner,” said Dellatorre.

With the increase of delivery demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic, La Vida Hospitality wanted to create a unique delivery experience to offer customers a safe and convenient way to eat out. Each meal is prepared in a high-quality kitchen with the highest levels of sanitation, safely packaged and sealed to ensure no one has touched the order since it left the kitchen. Customers can choose contactless delivery, which will allow the driver to place the item at the front door without any interaction.

Crave is set to launch in fall 2020 servicing Dewey Beach, Rehoboth Beach and Lewes. For more information, go to cravedeliverykitchen.com.
