Lee Johnson named broker for Coldwell Banker Seaford branch

January 1, 2021

Coldwell Banker Resort Realty recently announced the promotion of Lee Johnson to broker of record for its Seaford branch.

A Sussex County resident for more than 40 years, Johnson is a 1994 Seaford High School graduate and earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from University of Delaware in 1998. He is a former Sears manager and district trainer. Johnson resides in Georgetown with his wife Shannon.

Johnson has been in sales since 1998 and a licensed Realtor since 2001. He earned his associate broker’s license in 2006. He has been recognized year after year as the top-selling and top-listing agent in the Seaford branch. Locally, he has earned membership in the Coldwell Banker Resort Realty President’s Platinum Club, the highest honor based on transaction volume.

Johnson has earned placement in the corporate Coldwell Banker International Elite Circle, distinguishing him within the top 5 percent of Coldwell Banker agents worldwide. He is regularly recognized among the top three Coldwell Banker-affiliated Delaware agents for transaction volume.

Johnson focuses on advancing his education and commitment to his career. He recently earned both his Certified Residential Specialist and Commitment to Excellence designations. Realtors who receive the CRS designation have completed advanced professional training and demonstrated outstanding achievement in residential real estate. Only 32,000 Realtors nationwide have earned the credential. A Commitment to Excellence endorsement confirms for consumers that they have a skilled advisor, committed to conducting business at the highest standards, helping them through what may be the largest purchase or sale in their life.

Johnson has a passion for new construction and enjoys the unique complexities of each new build. He has been involved with home sales and marketing in the Seaford communities of Ridgewood Crossing, Asbury Meadows and Country Acres as well as Cypress Point and Heritage Point in Laurel, and Village of Cinderberry in Georgetown.

Johnson believes in being a mentor and leader to others in real estate. He has attended real estate seminars in San Francisco, New Orleans, Dallas, Orlando and Chicago. He has shared what he learned by presenting seminars to the Sussex Young Professionals Network and teaching Coldwell Banker Propel classes for new Realtors.

Johnson is passionate about the success of others, and his immediate goals for the Seaford office are a rebrand, rebuild and reintroduction of all the agents to the community they have worked to assist with real estate for decades. He has always believed in a commitment to cooperation with other Realtors and business partners. This will remain a vision he shares with all members of the firm.

Johnson is a member of the Sussex County Association of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

“Lee Johnson embodies all the characteristics sought in a broker. His business acumen, experience in the business and knowledge of all aspects of a real estate transaction will be essential in leading the continued success of the Seaford agents,” stated Bruce Plummer, chief executive officer, Coldwell Banker Resort Realty.

Coldwell Banker Resort Realty is locally owned and operated since 1979 with offices strategically located to serve central and lower Delaware.

Lee Johnson may be reached in person at 22350 Sussex Highway, Seaford, or by office phone 302-629-5575, cellphone 302-245-2145, and email ljohnson@cbanker.com.
