Lefty’s raises $1,800 for Village of Hope America Inc.

Lefty's Alley & Eats held its annual NFL Launch Party Sept. 10 for four hours of fun and fundraising on behalf of Village of Hope America Inc.

Auctions and giveaways were held every hour. Prizes ranged from NFL jerseys to tickets for two to see the Ravens vs. Seahawks at M&T Stadium and tickets for two to see the Eagles vs. 49ers at Lincoln Field. In total, the auctioned items raised $911 from guests. Impressed by the guests' generosity, Gary Foley, Lefty’s general manager, decided to match the amount raised, doubling the total donation to $1,822.

Village of Hope America Inc. is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization committed to providing hope, support and rehabilitation to those in need. VOHA provides residential care for individuals with developmental delays and/or intellectual disabilities, and adults who have aged out of the foster care system. Its mission is to empower people with developmental disabilities to lead self-reliant, fulfilling lives. The organization's services encourage self-respect, independence, and betterment of life quality for both residents and their families.
