Letter: Clear Space contributes so much to community

March 14, 2019

Clear Space has a significant history of adding to the community.:

The theater provides year-round live productions to residents and visitors.  The theater adds vibrancy to the community in the off-season which thus generates activity and revenue to businesses in the hospitality industry.

Clear Space has an active program that engages children and youth in our community.  Engaging participants in the arts has been proven to improve academic performance and social confidence.

While Rehoboth has a very vibrant seasonal community, providing cultural and educational opportunities to youth and adults is essential to the continued strength of a year-round community.

The leaders of this community depend on the dedication and engagement throughout  the year to make Rehoboth Beach a great place to visit and a great place to live.

Clear Space provides excellent live theater to our visitors and, maybe even more importantly, to our year-round community.

The vibrancy and livability of a community is based on what a  community has to offer.  How are live theater at the beach and educational opportunities related to the arts anything but a huge positive for all of us?
